June 23rd, 2010 Mike Conley will be performing the entire summer, but will be going in for some surgery to have a blemish removed from his right vocal chord. The doctors have assured Mike that this will be a safe procedure and he will be singing better than ever in a month......Surgery will be scheduled for sometime in August.
May 10th, 2010 Starting the Friday after Memorial Day, Mike will be performing outside, on the patio at Hall's Triangle Park in Fort Wayne......Mike will be there every Friday for the entire summer....if it rains, Mike will move inside.......showtime is 7:30 'til 10:30 & you can expect some great drink specials as well!! It's hard to believe we are already 1 month into 2010!! Mike Conley has a lot going on these days. First, he has been nominated for 4 Whatzup Reader's Poll Awards!!! Whatzup affectionately calls these awards - the "Whammy"....Mike has been nominated for: "Best Solo Performer", "Best Singer/ Songwriter", "Album of the Year" & "Performer of the Year."
Mike is also in serious conversations with his good 'ole buddy, Chris Dodds, about re-visiting Mulligan's again this summer (Lake James - Angola, IN). Mike also has a couple of other opportunities he has been working on for the upcoming year.......Please stay tuned for more updates.

Mike Conley's highly anticipated Christmas album, "It's a Conley Christmas," is finished and is currently in production. The cd will be available within the next 10 days or so. Orders are currently being taken online for $10.00, plus $2.50 shipping & handling (please see 'contact' page for address and additional contact information). The cd will also be available at all Wooden Nickel Stores, Borders and Higher Grounds (Ft. Wayne locations only)........keepin' it local, baby!!! Other retail locations will soon be added.
Mike Conley is also in the process of negotiating some rotation on area radio stations, so please be listening for many of these tunes on your favorite Fort Wayne and other regional stations. Once these stations have been confirmed, Mike will be letting you know where you can hear these wonderful renditions of your favorite Christmas classics!!!! If you'd like to hear one of the tunes from this cd, don't be afraid to call your favorite station & make a request - chances are, they will have a copy.
Friday, December 4th @ Columbia Street West is the official kickoff show for the album and many special guests who participated on the project will be performing. The show is an early one, beginning at 5:30ish 'til about 7 or 7:30 and promises to be a great night of entertainment. The show will begin with a few acoustic tunes, then a few tunes with the Beef Manhattans, then a few more acoustic tunes, then more of a "pop/ rock" set which will include a rare Mike Conley Band performance!!!
Mike Conley will also be performing a short 1 hour set both acoustically and with the Beef Manhattans on Saturday, Dec. 12th at the Wooden Nickel Budget & Collector's Store on North Anthony - Ft. Wayne.....This is a great show to bring the kids, as it is in the afternoon.....2-3pm.
July 12th, 2009 Mike Conley's throat is recovery slowly, but surely. He expects to be 100% by the end of the summer. In the meantime, he will be performing twice in July to test the 'ole vocal chords. Please refer to the "Shows" section for the 2 dates.
Mike is also working on his long-promised Christmas album......Expect it on the shelves this year!!!!! June 6th, 2009 Due to a serious throat ailment, Mike Conley will be taking some time off this summer. Mike will be off for the entire month of June and perhaps as long as the whole summer. December 7th, 2008 Mike Conley is putting the finishing touches on his Christmas album and hopes to have the funds to go back into the studio by the end of January to begin completion of the much anticipated "Conley Christmas Album".
Although it's scheduled release won't be until '09, it will be worth the wait.
September 30th, 2008 This Wednesday, October 1st, Mike Conley will be making an in-studio appearance with 92.3 the Fort. Mike will be performing 2 songs and will be on air from 4:30 - 5:30pm. On Friday, October 3rd, Mike Conley and Chris Dodds will be celebrating their 4 year anniversary of performing at Columbia Street West. Lots of prizes & goofiness will be on hand!!!!!!
August 12th, 2008 Mike Conley & Chris Dodds have 2 more shows up at Mulligan's (Angola, IN) this summer.......Friday, August 15th & Friday August 29th. If you get a chance to finally get out to this show, you will kick yourself for not getting there sooner!!!! It is an absolutely awesomely fun time!!!! .............. 2 other really special events: Saturday August 16th from 5 - 6:15, Mike & Chris Dodds will be performing at Dupont Hospital for "Movies & Music" - this will be a great opportunity to bring out the kids. Saturday the 23rd of August at the Satek Winery in Fremont, IN, Mike will be performing a solo acoustic set from 6 - 7:15...the event also features the talents of The Possum Trot Orchestra & the Swing-Billies & food will be catered in by Indiana's only 5-star restaurant....Joseph Decuis.
March 12th, 2008 Mike Conley has a couple of last minute shows coming up. On March 28th, he will be playing at Hall's Factory.....On the 29th he will be accompanied by Todd Phillips on piano , also at the Factory, for an evening of jazz standards. April Friday, 4th - The Beef Manhattans @ The Mad Anthony Brewery!!!! On Saturday, April 5th, Mike will be performing at CaHoot's CoffeeHouse up in Angola. This show is being recorded for the local public access station & promises to be a very special evening. In another last minute booking, Mike will be performing again at an awesome little Pub.....Pulver's....That show will be Friday, April 25th 9:30pm. March 6th, 2008 Mike Conley's "jazz standard" /rat pack era band, The Beef Manhattans, have picked up a last minute show on Friday, March 7th at Duty's Uptown Bar & Grill. Duty's is a hot little club located on Dupont Rd., just behind Casa Restaurant in Fort Wayne, IN.......Show starts @ 9pm. Sunday March 9th, Mike Conley will be MC at the Kiwana's Chili Cookoff at the Mad Anthony Brewery/ Original Munchies. If you make an awesome chili - bring it!!! If you don't - bring $5 & enjoy everyone else's!!! This event is from 3 - 6pm
February 25th, 2008 Mike Conley has been invited to perform at this years Whammy Awards Show to be held on Feb. 28th at Piere's Entertainment Complex - Ft. Wayne, IN. Mike has been nominated for 3 awards......"Best Solo Act", "Best Duo w/ Chris Dodds" & "Best Singer-Songwriter". Mike will be performing with violinist & former Conley bandmember, Gwendra Turney. Mike was originally slated to play with his partner, Chris Dodds; however, Chris is unavailable for the event. The show starts at 6pm........Mike & Gwendra will be hitting the stage at 9pm.
February 3rd, 2008 Mike Conley's band, The Beef Manhattans, are very excited to announce that they have been invited to perform at this years Jazzfest!!! NIPR is the host of the show and it will be held at the Botanical Conservatory on Friday, February 22nd.....Show starts at 6pm & the Beef Manhattans go on at 7:30!!!! December 27th, 2007 The Beef Manhattans are suddenly a hot commodity and are getting booked for '08; their first out-of-town gig will be in Mike's hometown..........Mark your calendar - on March 1st, the Beef Manhattans will be playing on Lake James @ Club Paradise - Angola, IN .... show starts @ 8pm.

November 26th, 2007 Mike Conley was recently interviewed by Whatzup Magazine......Look for the write-up to be in the next issue - November 29th!!! Mike also recently did a much-needed photo-shoot..........it's been a while!!!!!
October 26th, 2007 Mike Conley's new jazz project has been officially kicked off!! As mentioned in the prior post, the band is named "The Beef Manhattans" & definitely has a "rat-pack" flavor to it and played to a "packed" house at the Mad Anthony Brewery this past Friday........The next show for the Beef Manhattans is Friday Nov. 2nd @ Columbia street West (5-7pm "Happy Hour") and Saturday Nov. 3rd @ the Green Frog.......The Green Frog is owned by mayoral candidate Tom Henry's wife, Cindy.......with the elections being the following Tuesday, we might have some political rumbling in the air ....... could be interesting!!!!
August 21st, 2007 Mike Conley is currently working on a new Jazz-band project with 3 cool cats......Casey Stansifer is playing upright bass, John Moss is on the drums & Todd Phillips is playing the piano (& some trumpet, too!!)..... Mike will not be playing guitar in this project - however, he will be the singer. The format of the band is old-school "Rat-Pack" style standards from artists such as Tony Bennett & Frank Sinatra.
June 8th 2007 Mike Conley and Chris Dodds have begun their summer concert series up at the lakes. The upcoming summer fun will soon be listed on the "shows" page. Expect more frequent updates on this site.
July 20th, 2006 Mike Conley & Chris Dodds will be performing at the 2006 "Friday Nite Live" Concert Series on Friday, July 21st at Jefferson Pointe, in Fort Wayne, IN. Last year, there were over 1,000 people in attendance to watch Mike & Chris ROCK OUT!!!

Mike Conley has been asked by Mark Burnett Productions (creators of "Survivor") to give a private audition, on March 12th in Chicago, for the upcoming CBS television reality show "RockStar - Season 2". Unlike last year's show, which was based on people competing for a spot in an existing band (INXS), this year's show will be based on discovering "singer/ songwriters". Mike Conley & Chris Dodds have been asked to perform at this year's "Whammy Awards" show on Thursday, March 2nd @ Piere's. Mike & Chris have been nominated for "Best Duo" and will be performing an "Acoustic All-Star" jam with Duane Eby, Sunny Taylor, Mark Hutchins & David Todoran.

News - September 9th, 2005 On Saturday, October 1st, the Mike Conley Band will be performing their first "official" full night of music. The show will be from 10:00pm til 2:00am @ Columbia Street West. Up to this point, Mike has assembled the band for special occasions, but, chose to focus primarily on his singer-songwriter, solo acoustic career. However, due to the success of his first full-length cd, "My Little Secret" and some recent interest from record industry folks, Mike has assembled the band to perform on a more regular basis. Expect to hear a lot from his album, some very cool covers &, who knows, maybe some newly written stuff, too!!
News - March 20th, 2005 On Tuesday, April 5th, Mike will be performing a very special show with Nashville based band, Thornton, at Columbia Street West. Mike Conley took home 4 "Whammy" Awards at this year's Whatzup Magazine awards show!!! With over 1,000 votes tallied, Mike was voted "Best Live Solo Artist", "Best Live Duo/ with Chris Dodds", "Best Singer/ Songwriter" & "Cd Release of the Year". "Thank You" to those of you who voted for Mike & continues to support his musical endeavors. In other news, Mike's tune "Shallow" is continuing to move up the garageband.com charts!! It has shot all the way up to #7 on the current Alternative Rock charts & #23 on the All-time Alternative Rock charts (this is out of almost 15,000 songs!!!). News - August 4th, 2004 Mike Conley will be performing in his second "Pop Filter" show on August 14th. "Pop Filter" is a multi-media event that explores the arts with a variety of interesting & unique approaches........It is "an immerse, subversive experiment". Mike will be doing an "all-original" M.O.M.S. show on Tuesday, August 24th @ Columbia Street West. Mike will be performing all of his tunes from his soon-to-be-released CD. That same evening, one of Ft. Wayne's hottest new band's, The Brown Bottle Band, will also be performing a very special "unplugged-set". This will be the first official "all-original" set for the BBB & it promises to be a really cool night.......So, come out, damn it!!
News - May 17th, 2004 One of Mike
Conley's original songs has made a compilation Cd. The Cd is called " A
Hot Cat in a Dog's World". The proceeds will benefit autism and a cd
release party will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd at the Mad Anthony
Brewery/ Original Munchie Emporium in Fort Wayne. Several of the artists
will be performing & Mike is slated to perform around 8:00. The title of
Mike's song on the cd is "We'll Make It" & was co-written, produced &
recorded by Mike's good friend - Steve Wright. Mike's intention is to make
this song available exclusively on this cd, with no future re-release.
News - March 29th, 2004 On Tuesday, April 13th, Mike will be performing an "all-original" show at Columbia Street West. Mike will be sharing the evening with the talented guitarist from The Freak Brothers, Dan Mihuc. Not only is this a rare "all-original" show for Mike, but, also for Dan. Dan's solo project explores an entirely different realm as compared to his incredibly popular band............. This promises to be a very, very special show.

On January 17th, Mike will be performing @ Pop Filter - "Everything You See & Hear" / a multi-media art event.
