Mike Conley is a singer, songwriter & guitarist.  It all began back in grade school - Mike loved to sing.  If he wasn't singing in choirs, he was singing at the top of his lungs in his Mother's living room (Thank God, no one was home during these "moments").  Sing, sing sing - that's what Mike did & still does.  Though his current approach is pretty laid back, Mike has influences ranging from the likes of Dave Matthews, Seal & Billy Joel to KISS, Prince & Nine Inch Nails.  His musical approach is to try & keep things interesting for both the audience & himself. 

Mike considers himself a singer first & a guitarist second, however, he does try to play cool grooves that are more than just simple "Brown-eyed Girl" progressions.  Cover tunes include the music of:  DMB, The Beatles, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Coldplay, Cat Stevens, Prince, Rufus Wainwright & many, many more.  If you ever get a chance to check out a live performance , you'll find out for yourself that many of his cover selections are rather interesting for a solo-act to pull off.
