Geez, have you ever given a good friend of yours constructive criticism & they act like a big baby?  If you are a good friend of mine, I will compliment you & make you feel good about yourself.  However, I will also bluntly tell you how it is. Ya know, if I have a booger hanging out of my left nostril, I want you to tell me!!  So, if I am unknowingly acting like an idiot, I expect you to be a true friend & tell me.....  BUST MY CHOPS, so to speak.  When it comes to true friends, they don't "sugar-coat" the truth, they tell it like it is.
