"2004 has absolutely started off wonderfully. This past weekend was one of the most musically inspiring weekends that I have ever had. Everybody came out for the Columbia Street West show on Friday!! Saturday's entertainment agenda started off strong at Hall's Tavern & then ended at around 3:00am at the Avant-Garde Gallery......I guess the coolest part about this weekend was the tremendously positive response that people gave me for my original tunes - It's one thing to have someone request that I play a Dave Matthews tune, but, it's really awesome when someone asks for a Mike Conley tune - BY NAME!!! I have to send out a special "thank you" to Amanda & Jen for coming down from Chicago to support their "Homie" - I truly enjoyed getting 'caught up' with you guys........And yes, I love the Gerbers family, too!!!"
